First National Bank continuously strives to be at the forefront of technological innovation and customer service. In line with their innovative customer-centric approach, FNB tasked Realm Digital to make their FNB Private Life magazine accessible to private clients via a mobile application.
Essentially, FNB required the creation of a digital magazine with standard and basic functionality such as a clickable Table of Contents, adverts with interactive forms to increase engagement and to be able to reach each and every one of their private clients regardless of geographic location.
This project briefing led to multiple consulting sessions with Realm Digital to help create content as well.
Realm used the Snapplify digital publishing solution to create The Private Life, FNB’s digital lifestyle and financial magazine, which served as a library of all FNB’s private life magazines. Available on both Android and iOS, private clients were able to access bespoke editorial and photography content, covering a wide spectrum of content such as the arts, food, wine, sports, travel, and of course, personal finance.
The application also included a convenient ‘help section’, providing first-time users with information on how to use it and navigate with ease.
The client was pleased with the outcome and value provided in terms of reduced printing and postage costs, as well as increased readership, which in turn resulted in more engagement and understanding of FNB products/services. This had a further ripple effect, linking FNB private clients through to e-commerce to upsell their service offering.
